Pre-Alpha Projects
A downloadable project
Presentation
These are some of the games created as tests before the actual Corrupted Souls Alpha 1.0.
Pre-Alpha 1.1.1
This is the first version of video game ever created by me. It underwent 11 modifications before being "completed". The gameplay features a character called TheWhiteChalk (who was supposed to be a character from Corrupted Souls but was later scrapped) who must escape from the maze by first collecting the 7 coins scattered around the map while also avoiding his enemy, The RedChalk. Once you have collected the 7 coins, an exit path opens which will lead to a large coin which, if collected, will end the game.
Pre-Alpha 2.1
This version is very similar to the previous one in fact it is still a sort of labyrinth but this version was mainly used for interactions with characters, interactions in general, the home screen and even pausing the game.
WhiteChalk: The Game (Pre-Alpha 3.0)
This game is based entirely on the character WhiteChalk. The character must dodge Godot red bullets which will reset the player's progress. This is the first platform game I created that also introduced Godot physics.
Pre-Alpha 4.0
This game instead was created based on free assets. This game improves character interactions, adds light and darkness to the game and introduces the first battle against an enemy.
Conclusions
These are not the only projects I have created but there are also many others that have formed my experience and technique with Godot Engine. All these games were created over the course of 8 months before actually getting our hands on our real project.
YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE THESE FILES AND IMPORT THEM AS A GODOT PROJECT TO PLAY WITH THEM.
SOME GAMES WORK ONLY ON ANDROID/PHONES AND OTHERS ONLY ON PC

Install instructions
1. Installing Godot Engine
Make sure to install the latest version of Godot, currently 4.1.1.stable or higher. Godot is available for free on Android, Linux, macOS, and Windows, and can also be accessed via browser using the WebEditor. However, it is highly recommended to use the desktop or Android version for optimal performance.
2. Importing a Project
Click on "Import" from Godot's home screen and locate the .zip file of the project in your documents. You will be prompted to create a new folder or have an empty folder ready to extract the file into.
3. Operation Completed
The project will be loaded, and you just need to press the Start button to run the project.
